RE: 18TH CIRCUIT JUDICIAL NOMINATING COMMISSION APPLICANT AND INTERVIEW TIMES
FOR A VACANCY ON THE SEMINOLE COUNTY COURT
The Eighteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission will meet on Thursday, March 1st, in the Commission Room of the Orlando-Sanford International Airport in Sanford to conduct interviews of all applicants for the Seminole County Court position, which was created by the removal from the bench of former Seminole County Judge John Sloop. The interviews are open to the public, but the applicants are requested to remain outside the interview room except during their interview.

Following the conclusion of the interviews on March 1, 2007, the Commission will go into executive session for deliberation. At least three, but no more than six, names will be selected and forwarded by March 5, 2007 to Governor Crist for consideration. Governor Crist then has sixty (60) days in which to make his selection.
