JUDICIAL NOMINATING COMMISSION, 18TH CIRCUIT
RE: JUDICIAL NOMINATING COMMISSION SEEKS APPLICANT FOR A VACANCY ON THE BREVARD COUNTY COURT, AND CIRCUIT COURT OF THE EIGHTEENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT
The Eighteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission will meet Friday, September 21, 2001 at the Brevard County Commission Chambers in Viera, Florida to conduct interviews of all applicants for the judicial seats vacancies on the Brevard County Court and the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court. The interviews are open to the public, but the applicants are requested to remain outside the interview room except during their interview.
The interview times assigned for the applicants are as follows:
Circuit Court Only:
9:00 a.m. T. Mitchell Barlow
9.20 a.m. A.B. Majeed
9:40 a.m. Brian Onek
Circuit Court and County Court:
10:00 a.m. Michelle V. Baker
10:20 a.m. Glen A. Craig
10:40 a.m. James Earp
11:00 a.m. Diane Horsley
11:20 a.m. Kelly McKibben
11:40 a.m. James Nicholas
1:20 p.m. Nancy Sturgill
1:40 p.m. Molly Tasker
2:00 p.m. Diana Tual
County Court Only:

Following the conclusion of the interviews, the Commission will go into executive session for deliberation. At least three, but no more than six, names will be selected for each judgship and forwarded by October 1, 2001 to the Governor for consideration. Governor Bush then has sixty (60) days in which to make his selection.
